How do I change the choices for the chart fill function in Excel 2007. I would like to use some of the old fill choices (patterns), e.g. cross bars, diagonal bars, etc, that were available in earlier versions of Excel instead of the current choices, marble, etc. Is there an option menu that you use to add the choices?

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.

You can add new textures by clicking on the Fill Effects in the "Format Chart Area". Click on the texture tab, then click on "Other Texture..." button. You can use almost any bitmap file as a texture. You'll find some in your Microsoft office >Office>Bitmaps folder. Explore around and you'll find several in other program files. Or you can use a art program like Photoshop to create some of your own. After choosing a file, click "insert" and it will be added to the list of patterns available for your chart.
