Chart - Formatting Data Series

I have created a chart with 26 series (data points). I have formatted many of the data series to look different on the chart (i.e. red squares, blue triangles, etc.). Well, I have now formatted one of the last data series and on the chart it is reformatted, but the legend is showing the old format. This hasn't been a problem with the other reformats, but for some reason the legend will not format correctly. Any ideas on how to "update" the legend to properly reflect the new formatting?

Have you tried to delete the legend and then add the legend back?

maybe this will fix the problem.

yes, I deleted the chart and re-posted to no avail. It turns out, that if I add another value for that series and format the new value, it will fix the legend. Not real sure why that works, but it does. Thanks for the suggestion though...
