I created a simple line chart, with 3 numbers being charted each week in a 13-week period.

My problem is that the 3 columns cover about 5-10 percent of the chart area, with the gaps between the data consuming most of the chart. How do I fatten up the columns and reduce the gaps properly?

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
You haven't said what Excel version you have, but in Excel 2010 you can adjust the Gap Width on the Series Options tab of the Format Data Series dialog.

Ok. I found that, but it tells me my gap is 0. I think it has something to do with the horizontal axis, which the chart is showing as a date format. Could it be leaving room for all of the days between the labels, which are each Saturday?
