Hey everyone,

So, I don't have a problem, but need advice. I created a line chart with markers. There are 3 lines on the graph, and two of the lines add up to the third line. Sometimes, when one of the lines has a data point of 0, the other two lines overlay each other. Any recommendations on how to represent the two overlapping lines. The chart is 2-D and I have to add 4 charts onto a powerpoint slide if that helps.

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Say you have series2 plotting at identical values as series1 for one or more values of X; you can't see series1 because series2 obscures it. What I have done is make the point markers for series2 smaller than those of series1, so the series1 markers are visible behind/around the series2 markers. I have also done that with the line, making the series1 line heavier than the series2 line so you end up with the appearance of a striped line from point to point until series1 and series2 diverge again.
