Chart Legend Re-ordering as per the ranking

Hi,

I am running a monthly report regarding brand performance. Each month I have to re-order my legend entry of the line trend chart as per the ranking by market share in case, there is a change in ranks. For example,

JUNE
Brand1 - 33%
Brand2 - 32%

JULY
Brand2 - 35%
Brand1 - 33%

The order of the share ranking is changed. I need to create a macro to automate the reordering. Please help!!

If your chart is as simple as This value vs That value for the previous month, you can do this with a calculated chart area and not a macro.


Set up another chart area and use If statements to align the data the way you want it so that the right order appears in the legend.
