Chart not automatically refreshing??

I have a 2.5mb file that uses drop-down boxes to populate a standard line graph. When I change the drop-down boxes the source data will change to the correct info however the chart will not update. I have to re-trace the source data for it to work. I created a dummy chart in another workbook and was able to get it to update so I know it works. Is this a glitch, or an Excel setting that I can turn on/off?
