Is it possible to have Excel plot a chart using a dde in a cell?

The cell would continuously update and I would like to plot a data point each time the value is updated in the cell.

I understand how this is done "statically" with rows & columns, but can't figure out how to do it as mentioned above.

Maybe a macro?

Appreciate the help.

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Well, I got it working realtime. I pressed F11 and it created a chart. Now my question is, how can I plot separate data points on the chart to view as a trend?

Thanks
