Chart question

I would like to plot a lake level and corresponding precipitation on the same graph, and I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out how.
Say I want to plot the following on 1 graph:
Line=lake level reading by date
3/1/02 200.1 feet
3/10/02 200.5
3/12/02 200.7
3/15/02 200.8

Bar=daily precip by same date
3/1/02 0.2 inches
3/2/02 0
3/3/02 0
3/4/02 .3 in
3/5/02 0
3/6/02 0
3/7/02 .2 in
3/8/02 0
3/9/02 0
3/10/02 .2 in
3/11/02 0
3/12/02 0
3/13/02 0
3/14/02 .1 in
3/15/02 0

I can figure out how to graph each set independently, but not both on the same graph. Obviously the x-axes will be common, but I need different y-axes scales. Any help setting this up would be greatly appreciated.

I think this may be what you're looking for:

Select all of your data, then go to Insert|Chart (or click the chart button on the toolbar--doesn't matter).

For Chart Type, click the tab labeled "Custom Types" and select "Line-Column on 2 axes" and click next.

From there, just go through and check that your series names, etc. are how you want them.

Plot one of the 2 series, then Copy the 2nd and Paste Special... New Series.
