Morning all,

another day, another problem...

So lets just say that we have:

Workbook_one.xlsx basic daily export out of database with only one sheet. Lots of data, hard to read. Number of rows varies, number of columns stay same.

Workbook_two.xlsm this workbook is used for processing the data from Workbook_one. I am using a pivot table which I am completely fine with. Again, number of rows varies, number of columns stay same.

Workbook_three.xlsm (shared!) this workbook is used for chart presentations. In this workbook, I would like to have a basic column type of chart, with source data linked to the Workbook_two.xlsm.

As I said, number of rows varies so the column type of chart could be one day bigger and on another day smaller. The problem is, I do not know how to create a chart that will automaticaly adjust its series to constantly changing pivot table size in Workbook_two.xlsm. (Again, number of rows in pivot table varies but number of columns stay same).

Any ideas please?

Thank you.

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
Maybe use a pivot chart directly?
