Hi all,

How in the world does one chart multiple year's worth of data on the same chart (for the purpose of comparison)? Consider, for instance, graphing precipitation data from year to year. Seems so simple but...

Excel Facts

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
And what does your data look like ? do you have specific dates ? or the data is the entire year ? can you post some examples and what is your current problem ?

Yeah, I guess my question was pretty nebulous -

The data is arranged by m/d/y.

Consider the preciptation scenario: I have 10 year's worth of rain event data and all rain events occured during the summer sesaons. I'd like to graph several year's worth of this data on horizontal timeline (Apr - Oct) as a line graph or xy scatter. Does that help to clarify?
