Charting question about "# of categories between tickmarks"

Hi all,

I have a chart (line graph) that shows 12-month results trend. I formatted the X-axis so that the number of categories between tick marks is 2.

I noticed that when excel assigns tickmarks, it counts the first category as 0. So now that I chose to have 2 categories between tick marks, the tick marks fall on the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th month of my 12-month trend line graph.

Is there a way to force excel assign the tick marks on the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th and 12th month instead?

Thanks

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Probably not an ideal solution but I would consider having a 'blank' category at the beginning and end of my data.
For example I would have January in A3 through to December in A14 with the values in B3:B14 etc.
The chart X-Values would then be A2:A15 and the chart Values would be B2:B15. I would also untick the "Value (Y) axis crosses between Categories".
