I am getting an error: "Unable to get the ChartObjects property of the Worksheet class"

I am playing around with forms in VBA and am using the code:

Worksheets(SheetName).Activate
ActiveSheet.ChartObjects(ChartID).Activate
ActiveChart.ChartArea.Select

What am I missing?

This usually means that excel can't find the chart you're referring to on the active sheet. You need to make sure you are using the correct chart ID.
