Charts/Graphs that update automatically

1. Can a chart "auto update" when new data is added? To define further, I need a chart that would display monthly data Jan, Feb. Mar, etc. When I look at it in July, it has each month represented through June. When I look at it in August, it will automatically update to include July information and so on throughout the year.

2. None of the data being used to create the chart is native to the tab where the chart is needed, it all pulls from another .xlsx document.
