i have made a line chart but all is has is the points and I want the lines between the points. How do i do this?

Welcome to the board!

right click on a data pt and choose "format data series" on the left hand side, the line settings are either set to "none" or a color you can't see. try setting it to "automatic" or custom and pick blue or black. HTH

It still didn't put any lines in? what else can i do?

I never had that problem. you could try changing the chart type then changing it back to line (right click on chart, choose "chart type")
