I have a template file that holds an unpopulated pivot table.

The user is required to select the elements that will make up the PT but I want to make sure that the PT is unpopulated when the 'Create' button is clicked.

I have a 'Refresh' button that performs a refresh of the data but I want to keep the two routines separate.

Is there a way of checking if the data is populated?

Thanks

Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
What exactly do you mean by "unpopulated"?

Do you mean that the all the fields are hidden (not placed in PageFields, RowFields, ColumnFields nor DataFields), or
that all PivotItems are hidden through filtering?
