Hi Excel Guros.

I need a formula or VBA to check whether a date is already in the list, if not then add the date and currency rate in the list from the other sheet.

for Example in Sheet1 I have a date in column E2 1-July-2014 and the currency rate in column D2 1.22. The data in sheet1 gets updated every now and then.

I have another sheet called sheet 2 where I have all the dates except 1 July 2014 I want this date and the currency rate to be added in sheet2 in column A and B, but if 1 July 2014 is already exist in sheet 2 then nothing.

I will appreciate your help on this.

Thanks,

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
A little confused on how everything is setup, but here is a start. You'll have to fill in the appropriate cell/range references. Hope this helps.

=if(countif("range of dates", "date criteria")>0,"","date criteria")

Thanks, it diffidently helps but I wanted the related currency rate of the date criteria to be added in the next column.

for example:
if 1 July 2014 is not in the list add the date in the list "column A" and related currency rate of 1 July 2014 in column B.

Column A Column B
Date: 1 July 2014 Currency rate: 1.22
