I have two Columns - Yes and No with checkboxes in each column.

I want Excel to be able to calculate in the 'Total' Row, the number of check marks ( checkboxes checked) in each column and come up with a number.
Is that possible?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.

Welcome to the Board!

If you use the linked cell property for the controls you can count the result of each column.

Check boxes Linkedcell

Thanks for the reply.

I applied the Linkedcell property.
But doing a SUM function at the end still gives me a 0 even when the check boxes are checked.

Anything else I am missing?

Try COUNTIF to evaluate the controls' TRUE/FALSE returns.

I.E. =COUNTIF(Range,TRUE)
