Hey all,

I'm trying to find a formula that will help me with a project I'm doing. Im creating a meeting attendance record and am using checkboxes to check the person in the meeting. At the bottom of the sheet if they are supposed to be in a total of 5 meetings this month and only come to 3. I would like the cell to look like this... 3 / 5 .

I can't seem to figure out a formula for it. Can anyone help, please?

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Hi,
What kind of checkboxes are you using ?
Do you have linked cells ?

Say you linked cells are located in range L1:L5, you could have
Excel Formula:
=COUNTIF($L$1:$L$5,TRUE)& " / 5"

Thanks a lot for the picture ... :)

However, the picture ... sadly ... does not exactly answer the questions ;)

If you right-click on one your checkboxes, what do you see in the sub-menu ?
Form or ActiveX Object ???

Is the fifth item.... View Code ... or is it Grouping .... ???

Should have underlined the fact that the most important points are about the Linked Cells :
1. Do you use them ?
2. Do you know their location ?
