Checkbox result in if statement

Hi, I've linked my checkbox with a cell reference, which populates with TRUE or FALSE when checked / unchecked.

Is there a way that I can use and IF statement to return the content of another cell e.g. IF("TRUE",A2,""), without setting up my IF in another cell?

Thank you in advance.

I don't think your question is entirely clear to us. Note that Excel formulas can only return values to the cells that the formulas reside in (they cannot return values to other cells).

Please explain in more details, i.e. telling us what cell addresses certain formulas and values are in, and what you expected result is (what shows up in what cell).

It may be beneficial to show us some screen images of your data structure and expected results.

MrExcel has a tool called “XL2BB” that lets you post samples of your data that will allow us to copy/paste it to our Excel spreadsheets, so we can work with the same copy of data that you are. Instructions on using this tool can be found here: XL2BB Add-in

Note that there is also a "Test Here” forum on this board. This is a place where you can test using this tool (or any other posting techniques that you want to test) before trying to use those tools in your actual posts.
