Circular Reference

Hi All,

I'm racking my brain to work out a way around this without a circular reference but i cant.

I am a cabinet maker trying to make a parametric cutting list template that looks up some criteria from the cabinet selection then combines that with an index number to look up several rows.

I want the index number to skip a number if the quantity of that part is "0".

If you have a look at my attachment you will see all the index numbers after "1" have a circular reference and equate to "0" as a result. I cant upload the actual workbook, is there a way around this?

Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance - Mitch

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
The preferred option for sharing the worksheet is to install the XL2BB add-in and then select a portion of the sheet that illustrates the issue and post it. As an alternative, you could upload the file to a third party site (e.g., Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) and provide a link to the file, although some on this Board will not access the file due to their security policies. Either of these will likely initiate further activity.
