Hi,

What is the difference between a regular module and a class module? What can one do differently in a class module that can't be done in a normal module? Thanks,

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Thanks VoG II - I was inserting a UserForm and I accidentally inserted a Class Module and I had no idea what it was - a goog search didn't help much It's amazing how you can use an application for months and not know all the options availible - never really noticed the Class Module :)

Ah, yes, well I've lost count of the number of times I've inserted a UserForm when I meant to insert a Module :)

I believe that one can do very clever things using Class Modules so I don't want to discourage you from exploring...

If it helps, your userform is a sort of class! :)
