Hi,
Can someone help me how can i class a set of data (probably 6 column) into 3 class range using excel function?

For example:

DO INDEX
INDEX
BOD INDEX
INDEX
COD INDEX
INDEX
SS INDEXpH IndexAN INDEX
447969512931
27887257995
287760569856
147373807432
459272958626
599288553765
256144559328
36735371980
237761599661
841718789038

Class Range :

Class I : 81-100
Class II : 60-80
Class III : 0-59

I can't do by row because each row have different target row and class. I have 1000++ of rows.

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.

Your question is a bit unclear.
You have 6 columns (numbers) per row. So which one are you looking at to determine the class?

Maybe it would be helpful if you walk us through one of the calculations so we can see exactly how you want this to work.

Hi, i would like to determine all 6 variables based on class I , II or III i mentioned earlier.

For example Do Index Index for 1st row, the value is 44. So that value is belong to class III.

Another example: BOD Index Index is 79, so that value belong to class II.

I have to class 577 rows. Do you have any idea about that?

But where do you expect these returned classifications to go, in relation to your original data?

I solved it using conditional formatting. but now, how to find minimum value for each of Class by row?

Class I in Blue
Class II in Green
Class III in Red
