How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
Try
Code:
Sub Clear_Column()
  Dim ws As Worksheet

  Const ClearCol As String = "G"
  For Each ws In Worksheets
    If LCase(ws.Name) Like "*simple*" Then
      ws.Columns(ClearCol).ClearContents
    End If
  Next ws
End Sub
