Can I clear the data from selected cells and leave the formulas intact?

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.

Sure. Goto CRTL+G-->Special-->Check the Constants button. Once you do that all of the non-formula cells will be selected and you can then delete them. You can also record a macro doing it if you want to repeat it in the future.

Thanks Smitty,

Can I modify it to just clear the cells that I select, and then record it in a Macro?

If you're referring to manually selcting cells to clear, then sure. The recorder will capture that.

Thanks Again Smitty,

My apologies for not being clear with my "First Post". What I want is to clear the contents of cells containing formulas, but not clearing the formulas.

Then you'll need to clear their dependent cells, which may be a bit more complicated. Can you define them?
