Hi,

I have a variable called LastCol which contains the number 43.

I would like to clear out the contents associated with this column.

The following does not work:

Code:
       Columns("LastCol:LastCol").Select
       Selection.ClearContents

I had earlier used this variable to populate the content in that column row by row (the below is an example):

Code:
Cells(Counter, LastCol).Value = "FALSE"

How do I clear out a column if the column is represented by a variable? Thanks.

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
You could use

Cells(1,LastCol).EntireColumn.ClearContents

...assuming that LastCol is a number.
