Clipart lookup

Hello all,

I'm not if this is possible on MS excel 2010, but are you able to lookup a clipart picture from an item number? e.g. Like a vlookup on an item number and the vlookup gives you the description).

Hi,

if you mean to call up a picture based on the value stated in a cell (data validation per example) then the answer is yes. either with or without vba. It would require you to create a database that is a list of item number and their corresponding picture. The vba solution would require just a code for the picture while the formula solution would require the picture.

Is this what you are referring to?
