"Close All" feature in Office 2007

Does the "Close All" feature work in Office 2007? I have several saved workbooks open and would like to click the Red X in the upper right corner to close them all on the fly, instead it only closes the workbook on top.

Buried in the Excel Options (click the big ugly circular button where the File menu should be), uncheck the setting to show workbooks in the taskbar.
