I have a button on a form which takes a user to the another form.

How can i get the first form to close when the button is clicked to to open the second.

if you get the button to run a macro called for example NextForm in a module, then NextForm should look like this:

Sub NextForm()
FirstUserForm.Hide
SecondUserForm.Show
End Sub

Sounds not so difficult if you mean this :
Go from userform1 to userform 2 :

Private Sub CommandButton1_Click()
UserForm1.Hide
UserForm2.Show
End Sub

and back to userform1 :

Private Sub CommandButton1_Click()
UserForm2.Hide
UserForm1.Show
End Sub
