Got a bit of rust on the brain cells.. I would like some help from the pro's out there please.
I have a sheet that when a cell has meet a condition the "A" cell in that row changes a colour or a pattern is added to that rows "A" cell. How would I make that condition extend across the row for say 19 cells? I do not want to do it by my ugly clumsy thought make each cell coniditional on the previous ( ie 18 conditonals for based on the one "A" cell.

Thanks in advance
Great to see all this help out here. Very refreshing

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.

- Select all of the cells in that row that will have the formatting applied.
- Set the conditional format as a formula. For example, =$A1="Yes"
That will apply the formatting you choose for all of the selected cells if the cell in column A of that row contains the word "Yes."
