I hav the following formula in a workbook. I export the work sheet to another workbook.

When doing this using the file save as dialog the new work book always refers to the original workbook. Can I prevent this?

=IF(ISNA(MATCH(B1,Output!$D:$D,FALSE)),"",INDEX(INDIRECT("Output!$A$1:$D$99"),MATCH(B1,Output!$D:$D,FALSE),3))

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.

If it's only a single cell, then copy the formula instead of the cell (ie highlight the text in the formula bar above the cells).

If it is many cells, then probably the easiest way I have come across is to convert the cells to text before copying (do this by replacing = with ### or some unique occurrence), copy across, and convert back by reversing the Find/Replace.

or edit links and change source to new workbook (from old) -- assuming you have no other valid links present in the file (to other files)
