I am using Data:Get External Data to update a spreadsheet.

In my existing Boat spreadsheet I have a cell title for each boat such as

BOAT04G23

each new month there maybe a new entry under this boat number in the database, such as a new engine added or the like that has the boat number BOAT04G23 in a the boatnum field int the database.

I want this new entry and its associated fields to be added to or to be inserted in the existing list in my spreadsheet and for any new boat numbers to be compiled separately in their own list and for teh sum total fields to be updated with data from the new entries. I have a master sheet that I use to get all of the data from the database & update,
So that excel can read from the master sheet all of the entries and place them under their appropriate boat number?
Is there code that can be written to achieve this?

regards

Brick

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
