I don't understand the question. Can you clarify this?

What are you trying to do?
Do you want a sheet function to change text?
Do you want to set the Excel property for hyphens?
Do you want macro code to run the speller?
Do you want to modify the speller in some way to work with hyphens?

Please supply some of your data and tell use where and how you want your data transformed or operated upon!

What rules do you want to use to hyphen?
Do you just want to add a hyphen after each vowel if anything other than a space follows the vowel? JSW
