Hi,

I am currently using a macro which selects the previous sheet.

ActiveSheet.Previous.Select

The problem is that when there is no sheet prior to a sheet, an error is shown on the screen.

Can you suggest a code which would ask the macro to go to the previous sheet (if any) and not to show an error if there is no previous sheet?

Excel Facts

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
try
Code:
On Error Resume Next
ActiveSheet.Previous.Select
If Err <> 0 Then
MsgBox "No sheet to the left"
End If
On Error GoTo 0
or
Code:
If ActiveSheet.Index = 1 Then
MsgBox "No sheet to the left"
Else
    ActiveSheet.Previous.Select
End If
