Code needed

I need a code where if i mark a check box then a field in the form will default to the current date. For example i have a form that needs approval. Well whe I check mark the box as approved I want the approval date (today) to be generated then I can save after that. Thanks.

Hi
Add the following code to the 'After Update' event of the check box :

Private Sub Approved_AfterUpdate()
If Me.Approved = True Then
    Me.ApprovalDate = Date
Else
    Me.ApprovalDate = ""
End If
End Sub

Change the field names to suit - I used 'Approved' for the check box and 'ApprovalDate' for the date.
