I'm using this to clear shapes in a range of cells but it comes back as Run-Time error 424: Object required. What am I missing? TIA

Code:
Sub clear_cells()
Dim sh As Shape
    For Each sh In Activesheets.Shapes
        If Not Intersect(Range("F13:T21"), sh.TopLeftCell) Is Nothing Then
        sh.Delete
        End If
    Next sh
Range("F13:T21").ClearContents
Range("B2, B5, C5, F2, H5").ClearContents
End Sub

Excel Facts

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
As you haven't said where the error occurs, I'm guessing that it's the For Each line.
If so Activesheet should be singular, not plural.
