Hello Chaps

How do I write a macro to ask the user to enter an amount, find that amount on my spreadsheet, and highlight the row in which that amount appears?

Many Thanks

Aki

Easy bullets in Excel
If you have a numeric keypad, press Alt+7 on numeric keypad to type a bullet in Excel.
You didn't specify a lot of conditions, so work with this:
Sub FindAndSelect()
Dim Rng As Range
Dim What As Variant
What = Application.InputBox("Enter what you want to find", "Find", Type:=1)
If What = False Then Exit Sub
On Error Resume Next
Set Rng = Cells.Find(What, Range("A1"), xlValues, xlWhole, xlByRows, xlNext)
If Rng Is Nothing Then
MsgBox "Didn't find it"
Else
Rng.EntireRow.Select
Rng.Activate
End If
End Sub
