colmn contents to row contents

Hi all,
Lets say I have column cells A2:A500 with names in them.
Is there a formula that I can use to fill the row of cells from B2:Across with the same contents of the cells in column A automatically?

=INDEX($A$2:$A$500,COLUMNS($B$2:B2))

copy across

You could also use the Transpose function or copy/special paste with Transpose.
