Hi

I have a chart on a spreadsheet linked to two columns, where one of them change consistently based on values in other tabs. I want the stack's color to change based on the value in the cell that the chart is derived from. Is there a way to do this without using VBA?

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
So, you're essentially looking for conditional formatting for the fill color of the series in the graph? As far as I know this is not possible in Excel without VBA. I've seen various hacks you could use to compare the chart values relative to a constant value (1, 2), but I haven't seen anything that would allow you to compare the values relative to each other.

If this is a necessity, you might be stuck with a VBA solution or using something better suited to custom visuals, like Power BI.
