i'm looking for a vba macro solution (not conditional formatting) to color a row, if there is a match with a value in another column
to be more precise:
- in worksheet 1 i have hundreds of rows, with each row having ~10 columns of product-related info, one being "product name" in column C
- in column A in worksheet 2, i have a list of product names
- the macro would check each name in column A of worksheet 2 against all the rows in worksheet 1, and for every match, it colors the whole row
the products in worksheet 2 are far less than the full range, so the end result would be a worksheet 1 with only a few rows colored
