What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
1. Click on and highlight to select the cells you want to shade with color.
2. On the menu bar click on Format – Cells – Patterns
3. Under Cell shading – Color click to select the color you wish to use
4. Click on OK to apply your color

Hi there,

click into the cell you wish to colour and then on the top right hand corner of the screen, there's a little picture of a painpot (mext to the capital 'A'). If you click on the little arrow down button next to the paint pot, you chose the colour you want to fill the cell with. Next, to actually fill the cell with the colour, click on the actual icon of the Paintpot, and hey presto!
