colour dependent on value

Hi

I have a spreadsheet where I want to colour certain rows dependent on a value.

Put simply, If the cell D doesn't say "keyboard", but does have a value, I want the row to be coloured red.
BUT
if cell AD says "a" then the row should have no colour.

Is this possible? I am willing to use macros

Look at Conditional Formatting.

Condition format with formula. Use,

=AND(ISNUMBER(D2),AD2="a") for no colour
=ISNUMBER(D2) for red

Just apply to your range of data
