Column filtering and parameter selection issue in VBA

Hey what's up guys , i am looking to filter a column with the data from another column on another sheet. Here's a quick example, hope you guys can help me out :
Column to be filtered is called EDIBLES , column including the filtering parameters (to which i would like to add one or two eventualy and it automaticaly updating the code if possible ) is called LIST OF FRUITS. Now the only problem is most fruits will have digits after , so it has to be a begins with filter. I could do it manually but since i have thousands of filters i would like for it to look into the list of fruits column if possible and set the filtering parameters of EDIBLES correspondingly so if i added anything in the future, it would add them to the filter critereas aswell. I would also like it to filter based on column cell values and not put the actual fruits since this is just an example.. is it possible ?
