Column Graph Not Printing what the Print Preview Displays

I created a clustered column graph in excel plotting 2 different data points. When I print the graph, there is a "box" around the 2 bars. It's only noticeable on the ones where there is a difference between the 2 data points. The "box" cannot be seen when both data points are the same. The "box" doesn't show on the print preview. I've tried changing the color of the background, but that doesn't help. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
