Hiya, I am trying to create a combination line-column graph with 3 columns and only one line. I changed the line to a column by selecting the data series and changing the chart type and it changed it to a column but the column is now bigger and on top of the other two-columns - how can I get this right??? HELP???

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
Is the series that you changed to a column on the secondary y axis? If so change it to the primary y axis.

Alternatively, start with a column chart. All four series will be columns. Now, select the series that you want to be a line and select Chart | Chart Type... and change it to the kind of line chart you want. Move it to the secondary y axis if appropriate.

As simple as that - yes it was on the secondary axis - I have changed it to primary axis and it is set up perfectly - thanks heaps - saved a lot of my hair from being pulled out.
