Combine Text and Date formula

Hello,

I need some help please with a formula. I need to combine text in a cell plus the current date and another formula with the day prior to the current date.

For the first formula I have this:

=B2&"_"&TEXT(TEXT(TODAY(),"ddmmyyyy")

The above formula only shows the formula and not the desired result Cell B2 text_11012014

Also I need a formula for the previous day. Appreciate any help.

=B2&"_"&TEXT(TODAY(),"ddmmyyyy")

and

=B2&"_"&TEXT(TODAY()-1,"ddmmyyyy")
