Combine to Text cells

Hi,
I have 2 cells that contain to bits of text for example a1 says "GBP" and a6 says "eur".

What i want to do is to have both bits of data in one cell, and have a / in the middle.

eg:

GBP/EUR

any ideas ?

if they were in A1 and B1 respectively then in C1 put

=A1 & "/" & B1
