I'm alittle stuck here trying to figure out how to combine these two formulas

1st Formula is :
Excel Formula:
=TEXTJOIN("",TRUE,IFERROR(MID(Q17,SEQUENCE(20),1)+0,""))

2nd Formula :
Excel Formula:
=MID(A17,14,4)

Would really appreciate the help thanks

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Hi, please confirm on which cells you have written these formulas?

Combine them how?
What exactly is it that you are trying to do?
It might be best if you walk us through an actual example.

My apologies I should've went into more detail. So I have a mix value that looks like this "01-41F23-08". I'm trying to use the MID formula to capture the middle values 41F23. and then extract the F so that the end result is only numeric 4123. Hope that made sense

Does it always follow the exact same pattern?
Can you give us examples of different variations and the expected result of each?
Otherwise, we may give you an answer that works for this one example, but not the other data you have.
So it is important for us to know the different variations.

yes it always follow the same pattern. So i have a list of them and they start like this
Excel Formula:
01-41A00-08
or
Excel Formula:
01-42B71-08
. So the pattern doesn't change. The expected result for the first one would be 4100 and for the second would be 4271.

If that is indeed always the pattern, then a simple formula like this should work (for a value in cell A1):
Excel Formula:
=MID(A1,4,2) & MID(A1,7,2)
