Combined Chart ( Line Chart and XY Scatter Chart ) Problem

Dear Friends and Respected Seniors,
I have a chart containing a Line Chart Series and an XY Scatter Chart Series. Data for Line Chart is from A1-B9 and data for XY Scatter Chart is from A11-B19.
Data from A1-B19 is

The chart is generated correctly.

but when i change data of Column A, the chart generated is incorrect.

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
The series for the line Data has to be edited manually. When you created the original chart, the values 1 through 8 were inserted. You have to edit those in the Horizontal Axis section on the right side of the "Select Data Source" dialog. It will let you select the new X series.

My bad. I duplicated the issue. I had to change the X Axis Type to Date to get it to work. I guess the X Axis is being ruled by a Text based structure instead of a number based structure. The numbers 10-80 are just labels to the Line Data. The XY series uses numbers and can interpolate between. You'll have to play with the Units to get it right.

I converted Column A to the Date format and correct chart was generated. Tried with other formats too but only the Date format works ( not sure why ). (y)

I didn't have to change the numbers to dates on the sheet, just on the chart.
