Combing Multiple Files Headers HELP PLS

Hi All,

I have combined a folder with identical files (30+) with identical headers. When Power BI Combines them it doesnt recognise the headers and puts them as the first row instead. How do i stop this or promote the first line as a header but remove the headers from the data from all other files?? please help

did you try Get Data - File - Folder ?
if it doesn't work
- sort descending
- table.skip (number of rows with headers -1)
= promote

What I'm doing is

Get data
File
Folder
Select folder
Combine and transform data
Then right click on parameter and press transform

When it loads the data is shows each file, but when I press the 2 arrows under data it doesn't recognise the column headers and just says column 1 column 2 etc. The columns are shown as the first line of data instead

there should be two columns (they have names?) with double arrows, could you be not so enigmatic?

Could you do the same with Excel not PBI?
