Is it possible to put two lots of text in one cell?
I have two worksheets with identical numbers of rows & collumns. Some of these cells contain values and some contain text.
If I create a third worksheet I can easilly add the numerical valuess of cell A1 for worksheet 1 to the contents of cell A1 in worksheet 2 and show the result in worksheet 3. However where for example cell A2 always contains text in both worksheets how can I show both sets of text in worksheet 3 cell A2.

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.

It sounds like you're shooting for a concatenation of two text cells? A shorthand way is to use the '&' key.

For example:

Sheet1!A1 contains text: "I need to find" (without the quotes)
Sheet2!A1 contains text: "a better job :P"

In Sheet3!A1 the formula:
=Sheet1!A1&" "&Sheet2!A1

That will give the result "I need to find another job :P"

Note that the & is what ties strings of text together, and the &" "& in the middle is to toss a space between the two strings.
